Wasn't sure about the mid rise at first but it sits perfectly on my hips without digging in. The rouched elastic straps at the sides are actually comfortable and don't twist around. That little silk detail on the front makes it feel way fancier than a basic thong.
The silk remnants across the front panel feel surprisingly smooth against my skin, way nicer than plain lace. Those ruched elastic straps at the sides don't dig in at all, even after a full day.
These sit lower than I expected in the best way, and the ruched elastic straps don't dig in at all. The silk bits on the front are a nice touch, way softer than plain lace.
